AmnioGenic Therapy is a cryopreserved, flowable human allograft that has been
developed for clinical use as a soft-tissue defect filler and for localized areas of inflammation.

Amniotic tissue is an abundant source of collagen that provides an extracellular matrix to act as a natural scaffold for cellular attachment in the body. Collagen provides a structural tissue matrix that facilitates, among other things, cell migration and proliferation in vivo (in the living body.)

Patients have been successfully treated at many localized sites where a soft tissue defect or tear exists.  Physicians have used amniotic tissue for over a century as a biologic dressing in a broad range of therapeutic applications.  It has been generally recognized as a versatile soft-tissue defect filler with published clinical results cited extensively in medical and scientific literature.  Commonly treated areas of injury include decubitis ulsers, plantar fasciitis, repetitive motion injuries, tendinitis, soft tissue injuries and muscle tears.

Generally, the product should not be used with patients who are undergoing treatment for cancer, those on immunosuppressive drugs or those with compromised immune systems.  Other than the foregoing, AmnioGenic Therapy may be appropriate for patients with localized soft tissue injuries, tears, or defects. Schedule a consultation to see if AmnioGenic therapy may be right for you.

It is Non-steroidal, Anti-Inflammatory and has Natural Anti-Pain properties.
